Please Note
All fees are payable in Dollars. Exhibitors should refer to the Exhibition Manual for registration details and entitlements. To be entitled to the early registration fee, you must have registered and paid by 30th November 2024
An Exhibitor will pay USD 300 to cater for lunches and refreshments
Accompanying persons registration includes the Opening ceremony, Welcome reception, Entrance to the AfWASA ICE2025 Exhibition and Closing ceremony only.
Students 1 day pass includes access to the Exhibition on dedicated days for Secondary and Primary school children. A distinction has been made between University and Secondary / Primary School students
An AfWASA member is identified as a staff of a fully paid up organization that is a member of AfWASA or fully paid up individual and is up to date with its dues. Please Note: Confirmation of AfWASA membership and passport biodata is required when you submit your registration form. Without this, the Non-AfWASA registration fee will be charged.
A Non-AfWASA member is identified as a staff of an organization or an individual that doesn’t meet the criteria for AfWASA Membership.
A young Water professional is identified as a member of the IWA or AfWASA YWP chapter and below the age of 35 years. Please Note: confirmation of membership of the YWP chapter and passport biodata is required when you submit your registration form. Without this, the applicable fee will be charged
A student is identified as a holder of a student identification card from a recognized tertiary or secondary educational institution or an international student card. Students must be studying full-time to qualify for the discounted rate.
Please Note: A copy of your student identification card is required when you submit your registration form. Without this copy, the applicable fee will be charged.
A local delegate is identified as a national of the host country and currently working and residing in Uganda.
Please Note: Confirmation of nationalities such as a National ID, residence permit or passport biodata is required when you submit your registration form. Without this, the applicable fee will be charged.

Payments, Invitation Letters & Visas
- Payment may be made by credit card, electronic funds transfers, or cheque. Onsite payments will also allow cash
If you need a letter of invitation to allow your attendance at the congress, please contact the local organizing committee or indicate that you need such a letter in your registration.
Presently, Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs grants Visa waivers/exemptions to approximately 68 countries with special agreements with Uganda. If you are unsure of whether or not you need to apply for a short-term Visa to enter Ugandan to attend the congress, Click here for more information.
If your country is not listed, then you will need to apply for a Visa. You can contact the Embassy of Uganda, or the nearest Consulate of Uganda in your home country to receive guidance on the application process and necessary documents you will need, please refer here for more information. Alternatively, we recommend you apply for your Visa through a local agency, it is quicker and easier to obtain a tourist visa than to get a visa through the Uganda Embassy and Consulate.
